Casino de Monte Carlo 6q105k
If we are discussing the most luxurious casino in the world, and we are leaning towards roulette, then we have to mention the Casino de Monte Carlo which is the spiritual home of the game and continues to feature in the world's top 10 Luxury Casino lists. This hotel is on many people's bucket lists- it was on ours (tick, done, loved it).
Designed by Charles Garnier, this casino overlooks the Med and is famous for its Bohemian glass chandeliers and rococo ceilings. You'll need to dress up to visit- a jacket and port are required.
The Casino Monte Carlo is well known from many Bond movies including Never Say Never Again and Golden Eye, where Bond hooks up with the villainous Zenia Onatopp for a Martini (shaken, not stirred) at the bar.
Whenever we visit the Casino de Monte Carlo, we are always bowled over by the concentration of money. This is where the seriously rich come to play and it makes for fascinating people watching.
Inside the Casino it's incredibly lavish, with room upon room of almost intimidating rococo – towering columns, gilt, marble, chandeliers and enormous paintings.
To follow the big money, you'll need to escape the hordes on the slots and cheaper tables and head for the serious gambling in the Salons Privés right in the hub of this gloriously over the top building. Or head for the Mediterranean sunshine on the terrace which opened in 2011 for those who like to bet outdoors.
What can be better than making a Complete Bet on your favourite number with the deep blue Med in the background?

There's a renovated Salon Blanc bar to order your martinis at (en route to the outdoor terraces). And then there are some fabulous restaurants like the Buddha Bar- this is where this luxury casino suddenly gets hip. Or try Le Train Bleu if you like Italian food, or Les Privés for high end French cuisine.
Casino de Monte Carlo- about as far from a high street betting shop as you can imagine!
In fact there's only one problem with going to the Casino de Monte Carlo in Monaco. If you ever visit Las Vegas and stay at MGM's Monte Carlo casino on the Strip, you'll probably find it's just about the tackiest thing on the planet. I mean, this is Las Vegas, so what did you expect? But we'd advise you to head somewhere else like the Bellagio, or you'll just spend your time comparing the two. And there is no comparison!
MGM (or rather their t venture vehicle Victoria Partners) have been accused of illegally copying the name of the famous Casino de Monte-Carlo in Monaco, but the operator of the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino in Las Vegas has stated that the Monaco casino does not hold trademark rights to the name in the U.S.
Victoria Partners, the t venture between MGM Mirage and Mandalay Resort Group has filed counterclaims contending that Société des Bains de Mer et du Cercle des Étrangers à Monaco or SBM for short (which runs the real Monte-Carlo Casino) does not have the rights to the Monte Carlo name.
The Las Vegas casino opened in 1996.
They do have a point- the Casino de Monte Carlo in Monaco is one of the most famous casinos in the world, and it opened in 1863.

A Neighbour’s Bet is a bet on multiple numbers on a roulette wheel that covers one number and a series of adjacent numbers on the wheel.
Roulette 7 bet with Two Neighbours on 3D Roulette
The most famous “Neighbours” bet (or neighbors to use the American spelling which you will see quite often) is the “Voisins du Zero Bet” or “Neighbours of Zero” which is a nine-chip bet that covers eight numbers on each side of the zero- a bet on seventeen numbers in total.
variants will allow you to make roulette Neighbours Bets on any single number of your choice with straight-up bets. You bet on a number and neighbouring numbers on either side of it (grouped on the wheel, not the table).
Some variants will place a fixed number of bets on either side (normally three), but the best variants, like Tom Horn Announced Bets Roulette, are flexible and will allow you to choose from one to three numbers on each side, a bet on between three and seven numbers. Some variants go even further.
Example of a “Three Neighbours of 19” Bet (Announced Bets Roulette)
Three Neighbours of 19 Bet on Tom Horn Announced Bets. Play at Wombat Casino
Here’s how to make a Neighbour’s Bet on Announced Bets Roulette. Easy! Select the number of neighbours you want (between one and three). Then select a chip size and make your bet on the racetrack betting zone (the oval showing Tiers du Cylindre, Voisins du Zero etc) rather than the standard betting table.
It should highlight your neighbouring bets as you move your cursor around the betting zone.
Hold and Cold Numbers 3y1z66
The Neighbours Bet is popular with people who chase hot and cold sectors of the wheel. The house advantage is the same as for all other European Roulette bets (2.6%). Your pay-out will be 35:1 on the number that comes in and your overall return (ROI) will depend on how many neighbours you have bet on.
This is also quite a neat way of mixing things up if you are playing even money bets (bet eight Neighbours). It gives you slightly less coverage than say, a bet on red or black, as you are covering seventeen numbers and not eighteen.
Players who like playing thirds with column bets and dozens can use a 5 neighbours bet (eleven numbers in total, slightly less coverage) or a 6 neighbour’s bet (thirteen numbers in total, slightly more)- which can enable you to mix your play up if you are playing hot or cold sectors.
the Gambler’s Fallacy though. Each spin of a roulette wheel is a mutually exclusive event and any one spin is not affected by previous spins. The wheel re no history.
Tip 2f5p32
Use it to Make Up Even Money / Thirds Bets
If you like playing even money bets like red/black (if you are a Martingale player for example), try playing an 8 neighbours bet instead (seventeen numbers coverage, slightly less). This is a way of covering zones on the wheel rather than the table. Or play a 5 neighbours bet (eleven numbers covered) if you like playing thirds like the columns or dozens bet.
The Best Casino and Variant for the Neighbours Bet? 1y654s
You’ll need a variant for this- we would suggest Tom Horn Announced Bets Roulette at Monkey Casino, as these variants offer you the flexibility of choosing how many neighbouring bets you place.

Roulette Neighbours Bet: Pros and Cons 4g1254
A quick way of covering many numbers on the wheel.
If you like to bet on hot and cold zones on the wheel, the Neighbours bet is the way to do it.
Good for covering zones in live roulette.
This bet often leads people to believe that previous results affect future results. They don’t.
It’s not that common to see this bet option (apart from Voisins du Zero.)
Roulette neighbours bets are placed on numbers that are next to each other on the wheel rather than the betting table. Because the numbers on both a European and an American roulette wheel do not run sequentially around the wheel, it is easier to find a variant that offers these bets as a feature rather than making the bet up manually. Pick your target number and then select the number of neighbours that you would like to cover on the racetrack betting layout.
If you have a favourite number, like 17, the Neighbour’s Bet gives you a way of reducing the volatility of the game when betting on single numbers. You bet on a zone of numbers with your target in the middle instead.
The classic neighbours bet and the small neighbours bet differ in the amount of numbers covered and the total bet needed:
– Number of Numbers Covered:
Classic Neighbour’s Bet: Five numbers in total – the central number and two numbers on each side of it on the roulette wheel.
Small Neighbour’s Bet:
Three numbers – the target number and one number either side.
– Probability of Winning:
The Classic Neighbour’s Bet has a higher probability of winning (more coverage)
– Payout:
Classic Neighbour’s Bet: the payout for hitting any single number is 35:1, the overall payout for the bet is 35:5 or 7:1
Small Neighbour’s Bet: The overall payout is 35:3, or 11.6:1. It’s a more volatile bet.
